Are you passionate about delivering inclusive, person-centred education that empowers young people with complex needs to thrive? Beaumont College is seeking a committed and creative Lecturer to join our team and help shape meaningful learning experiences for our students.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Design and deliver a highly personalised curriculum aligned with each learner’s Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support learners in developing essential skills for adulthood.
- Create engaging, differentiated lessons across creative and functional subjects for students with complex learning and physical needs.
- Set SMART goals and track progress through detailed daily narratives and evidence-based reporting.
- Embed therapeutic approaches and assistive technologies into learning programmes.
- Promote emergent and conventional literacy skills tailored to individual learning needs.
- Lead educational activities both on and off campus, including trips and visits, ensuring safety and compliance.
- Provide personal tutor support to a caseload of students.
- Support classroom management and deploy support staff effectively to meet student needs.
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement and self-assessment processes.
- Maintain accurate records and uphold safeguarding, health & safety, and data protection standards.

- Strong understanding of person-centred approaches and inclusive education.
- Ability to identify and remove barriers to learning.
- Skilled in setting and measuring progress against SMART outcomes.
- Confident in using technology and therapeutic strategies to enhance learning.
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing.
