Salary: £32,916 (M1) – £51,048 (U3), dependent on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7.50–8.00 hours per day
Contract: Term Time Only (39 weeks)
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEND Teacher to join our team at Woodview. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning, managing a class team, and supporting the pastoral needs of students. This role involves implementing the school’s ethos and educational programmes, tracking student progress, and leading annual reviews in collaboration with external agencies.
We welcome applications from teachers with experience in secondary-level English or Maths, as well as those with substantial primary teaching experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons that support academic and social development.
- Act as a class tutor, fostering strong relationships with students, parents, and carers.
- Lead and manage a class team to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Monitor and record student progress using a variety of assessment methods.
- Set personalised learning targets and coordinate termly and annual reviews.
- Provide updates to external agencies on student progress and development.
- Promote the school’s values and participate in whole-school activities.
- Uphold school policies and procedures as outlined in the staff handbook.
