The Role
Reporting to the Divisional Director, you will have full accountability for the quality, financial performance, people leadership and strategic development of your region. You will lead a team of operational managers, work in close partnership with support functions, and act as a senior ambassador for Salutem with regulators, commissioners and external partners.
This is a hands-on, visible leadership role requiring regular presence across services and strong engagement with teams on the ground.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Quality & Compliance
- Ensuring services achieve and sustain GOOD or OUTSTANDING CQC ratings
- Driving continuous service improvement and embedding a strong Well-Led culture
- Owning and delivering service improvement plans where required
- Maintaining full regulatory and governance compliance across the region
Commercial & Financial Performance
- Delivering Regional EBITDAR, occupancy and KPI targets
- Reducing agency usage through effective workforce planning and retention
- Identifying growth, redevelopment and investment opportunities with clear ROI
- Building strong partnerships with Local Authorities, NHS and commissioners
Leadership & People
- Leading, coaching and developing high-performing managers
- Building a strong leadership pipeline and succession plan
- Creating a culture of accountability, collaboration and shared best practice
- Championing staff engagement, retention and development
Strategic Leadership
- Developing and delivering a clear regional strategy aligned to company objectives
- Representing Salutem professionally with external stakeholders
- Contributing to divisional and company-wide leadership and decision-making
About You
You will be an accomplished senior leader with experience in multi-site health or social care, confident operating at both strategic and operational levels. You are values-driven, commercially astute and comfortable leading change in complex environments.
