As a Flexibank Support Worker, you’ll be part of a passionate and supportive team that goes above and beyond to make a difference in young people’s lives. - Support young people with daily routines and activities, including education, hobbies, and family contact.
- Encourage independence, life skills, and personal achievement.
- Create a safe, homely, and stimulating environment where young people feel valued and understood.
- Build strong, positive relationships through consistent communication, empathy, and respect.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, social workers, and professionals to ensure cohesive care.
- Keep accurate, detailed records and contribute to handovers, team meetings, and key work sessions.
- Undertake sleep-in shifts and remain flexible to meet the needs of the home.
- Be proactive in identifying and reporting risks or safeguarding concerns.
- Maintain high standards of tidiness and presentation within the home.
