Deputy Manager duties:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Support Leader to support the Registered Manager in delivering high-quality, person-centred care services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the day-to-day management and quality delivery of person-centred services.
- Promote the health, safety, wellbeing, and safeguarding of people we support and staff teams.
- Lead, supervise, mentor, and develop support staff through recruitment, induction, training, coaching, and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with CQC standards, company policies, safeguarding requirements, and contractual obligations.
- Monitor service quality, risk assessments, medication management, and care planning to achieve positive outcomes.
- Manage staff rotas and deployment to maintain safe staffing levels and meet individual needs.
- Conduct audits, supervisions, appraisals, and team meetings to drive continuous improvement.
- Work collaboratively with families, local authorities, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to support service growth and excellent outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records using company IT systems and contribute to effective budget and resource management.
- Act as a positive role model and provide leadership in the absence of the Registered Manager.
About You:
- Proven experience in health and social care leadership.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding, person-centred practice, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and team leadership skills.
- Passionate about delivering outstanding care and supporting staff development.
