Working within a team you will coordinate the delivery of high-quality qualification training, apprenticeships and leadership development opportunities across the Care and Education Divisions, ensuring we develop a skilled and competent workforce and meet the regulatory and statutory requirements in accordance with the People Strategy.

From leadership inductions and development programs through to apprenticeships and qualifications, you will be the face of the Leadership & Careers Team delivering a high level of customer service and administrative coordination to our Services.

 

About The Role

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the apprenticeships and qualifications process from nomination to enrolment and completion.
  • Support with the creation and maintenance of apprenticeship and qualifications processes and procedures, recommending opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Collect and manage data relating to apprenticeships and qualifications to assist the Divisional Directors in meeting KPI targets and reducing withdrawal rates. Prepare reports and audits where needed.
  • Be the first point of call for all apprenticeship and qualifications information and queries, responding to enquiries and researching relevant programmes.
  • Build and manage positive relationships with our apprenticeship providers to provide feedback and remove blockers for learners and ensure a smooth enrolment experience, through attending learner support and provider meetings. Attend bi-weekly training committees.
  • Use internal communication platforms to promote apprenticeship and qualification opportunities to ensure full usage of our levy pot. Work with our marketing team to promote on our external platforms.
  • Provide additional administrative support to the Leadership & careers Team, working closely with the Leadership & Careers Coordinator to manage the Leadership & Careers inbox effectively.
  • Provide support for initiatives and projects assigned by the Head of Leadership & Careers.
  • Support with the management of the Leadership & Careers budget, including the apprenticeship levy and qualifications allocations.
  • Foster a positive and supportive environment for apprentices within the organisation.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.

 

Knowledge, skills and competency

  • Business Admin or equivalent
  • Customer Service or equivalent
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to record, analyse and translate data.
  • Ability build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience of using IT Systems
  • Coordination of events/ training/ apprenticeships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining a high quality of work
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team.
  • Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Demonstrates adaptability and resilience.
  • Proactive problem solving and a growth mindset.
  • Personable and ability to build relationships.
  • Organisational skills and ability to meet multiple project deadlines.  
  • Self-motivated and able to work autonomously within a dispersed team. 
  • Background in learning and development or HR (desirable)
  • Experience/Awareness of ASC / DAS (desirable)
  • Use of learning management systems (desirable)
  • An awareness of learning and development specific to social care, residential, supported living, learning disabilities, mental health and physical disabilities. (desirable)
  • Demonstratable experience working within an apprenticeship administrative role. (desirable)
