Reporting to the Registered Manager, the post holder will work to ensure that specialist and quality care and support for service users is maintained through assisting in the planning, implementation, supervision and evaluation of service user care and support. The Deputy Manager will also be required to ensure that policies, procedures, systems and workplace practices are fully implemented and consistently applied.

We are looking for a highly motivated team member who will either have or be working towards NVQ/Diploma in Health and Social Care level 3/5. Experience of working with individuals with communication difficulties is desirable. A sound working knowledge and understanding of CQC Regulations and Standards, the Mental Capacity Act and the Deprivation of Liberty Standards is also desirable.

The successful candidate will need to show a high level of commitment and flexibility in the role and be able to work closely with the Registered Manager and staff team to ensure the very best outcomes are achieved for the individuals residing at Ashleigh House.
