What You'll Be Doing: Igniting Growth and Shaping Our Future

This role is your canvas to design, deliver, and champion transformative development experiences. You'll be at the heart of our journey, ensuring our people and our organisation are equipped to excel.

1. Design & Delivery: Crafting Inspirational Journeys

  • Innovate & Inspire: Deliver our unique leadership development programmes that resonate with diverse roles, meet regulatory standards, and directly address our evolving business needs.
  • Create Engaging Content: Develop blended learning materials – from insightful toolkits and dynamic digital content to impactful eLearning and webinars – that are not just informative, but inclusive, practical, and deeply relevant to our Managers.
  • Embed Learning: Go beyond the classroom! You'll ensure learning sticks by supporting the transfer of knowledge into daily practice through impactful social learning, actionable planning, and continuous support.
  • Facilitate with Flair: Lead vibrant development workshops for aspiring and existing managers, weaving in our Salutem values, inclusive leadership, building resilience, and championing continuous improvement.

2. Organisational Development Consulting: Diagnosing, Designing, Delivering Change

  • Cultural Partner: Consult with stakeholders to pinpoint cultural strengths and challenges, then design and propose targeted OD interventions. This could involve everything from dynamic team diagnostics to values alignment, 360-degree feedback, and engagement planning.
  • Integrate & Embed: Collaborate closely with our Managers to seamlessly weave Salutem’s leadership and culture frameworks into the very fabric of our day-to-day operations.

3. Evaluation & Impact: Measuring Success, Driving Improvement

  • Insight-Driven Reporting: Partner with our Leadership & Careers Coordinator to meticulously record activities, report on key themes, and translate insights into actionable reports and recommendations.
  • Demonstrate Value: Provide compelling reports to stakeholders on the tangible outcomes of OD interventions, showcasing the positive impact on services where targeted support has been provided.
  • Shape the Future: Monitor culture and capability trends proactively to inform and shape our succession planning, retention strategies, and workforce resilience plans.

4. Projects & Innovation: Leading the Way

  • Pioneer Key Initiatives: Contribute to or lead on exciting OD initiatives, including:
    • Developing leadership competency frameworks
    • Implementing cutting-edge leadership diagnostics and 360-degree feedback
  • Stay Ahead: Continuously explore emerging L&D and OD trends to ensure we remain at the forefront of innovation and sector relevance.

Who You Are: Your Expertise & What You Bring

You’re a visionary L&D and OD professional with a proven track record of creating impact.

  • Proven Experience: Demonstrated success in designing and delivering high-impact leadership and organisational development programmes, ideally within a regulated or commercial care/education setting.
  • Master Facilitator: Exceptional facilitation skills, equally adept across both face-to-face and digital platforms.
  • Knowledge Powerhouse: Deep understanding of culture change, team development, adult learning principles, and organisational psychology.
  • Consultative Approach: Proven experience consulting on intricate team dynamics, fostering engagement, and cultivating a high-performance culture.
  • Qualified Professional: Holding a CIPD Level 5+ or an equivalent qualification in Organisational Development, L&D, or Coaching.
  • Accreditation Bonus: Accreditation in psychometrics (e.g., Thomas PPA) or team diagnostics is a plus!
  • Sector Background (Preferred): Prior experience in the social care and/or education industry would be a significant advantage.
  • Sector Savvy (Preferred): Familiarity with regulatory bodies (CQC, OFSTED, Care Inspectorate Wales, ESTYN) and wider workforce development strategies in social care (e.g., Skills for Care).

Our Values & Your Strengths: The Heart of What We Do

You'll thrive here if you are:

  • People-first with a sharp commercial mindset.
  • Passionate about helping others grow and truly thrive.
  • Curious, inclusive, and evidence-informed in your approach.
  • Skilled at expertly balancing challenge and support.
  • Proactive, self-led, and possess high emotional intelligence.
