We are looking for a Support Worker to join our team, with opportunities to grow as the service expands.
Key responsibilities include:

- Supporting with medication administration

- Providing personal care and toileting support

- Assisting with meal preparation

- Supporting individuals with finances

- Enabling access to community activities, hobbies, and appointments

- Helping maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment

- Providing emotional support and encouragement
This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same.
Typical days include supporting people to access the community for activities such a pub lunches in local towns like Falmouth & Truro, cinema trips, walks, national trust visits, ice creams, trips to the barbers, shiatsu massage, Dance class, horse riding, sailing, bus trips.
We’re looking for someone who is:

- Dedicated to supporting people to live independently

Experience in care is helpful but not essential—we welcome applicants with transferable skills and the right values.
Desirable (but not essential):

- Care Certificate or Health & Social Care qualification

- Experience supporting people with learning disabilities and/or autism

- Understanding of choice, independence, and person-centred care
