Team Leader

About the Role

As a Team Leader at Salutem Healthcare, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our supported living services. You’ll lead a team of Senior Support Workers and Support Workers, working closely with your Locality Manager to deliver outstanding, person-centred care. This role combines leadership responsibilities with hands-on support, ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting independence for the people we support.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and motivate your team to deliver exceptional care and support.
• Ensure person-centred plans are in place, promoting independence and choice.
• Maintain compliance with Health and Social Care Act and Reach Standards.
• Manage rotas, supervise staff, and support their development.
• Oversee medication, finances, and tenancy arrangements for individuals.
• Drive continuous improvement and uphold Salutem’s core values: Supportive, Ambitious, Loyal, Unique, Transparent, Engaging, Meaningful.

What We’re Looking For

• Essential:
  • Level 3 Diploma (or equivalent) in Adult Social Care.
  • Experience working with vulnerable adults in a social care setting.
  • Previous line management experience.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Desirable:
  • Working towards Level 4 Diploma.
  • Knowledge of Reach Standards.
• Other:
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and on-call duties.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
