College Support Worker - Independence and Employability Team
Location: Lancaster
Hours: 35 per week. £11.60 - £12.20 hourly pay, £18,108 - £19,044 TTO
Driver preferred but not essential.
We have roles for existing health and social care professionals and those new to the profession. The Salutem Academy offers all-age opportunities for further study for career progression, and operational training is planned around the service you work in.
You will work with a wide range of students, including those more independent students who may enjoy opportunities to undertake voluntary work. Other applicants will have the aptitude to work with young people with often-complex autism, ADHD etc. where there is a focus on emotional regulation, alongside learning. The focus is improved responses to strategies that de-escalate an emotional response to commonly encountered activities of living, whilst Preparing for Adulthood.
